This one is for our SABR friends. Of the players who will be in the Padres big league spring training camp this year, which one is the only player to be in the top 100 list of career active leaders in Wins Against Replacement (WAR)?
For those of you who are not familiar with this statistic, it is generally described as a single number that presents the number of wins the player added to the team above what a replacement player (think AAA or AAAA) would add.

Answer to our last question: Of the pitchers currently in the Padres spring training camp which one had the lowest contact rate (in other words most swings and misses at pitches in the zone), in all of MLB for the second half of last season? Answer: Right-hander Tyson Ross had the best second half contact percentage in all of MLB at 69.7%. Yu Darvish lead all of baseball for the 2013 season with 70.5%.
