Where is Dick Enberg?

Every night I get no less than a dozen emails asking the question, “ What happened to Dick Enberg?” I am happy to report that nothing has ”happened” to Dick, other than he went to London as scheduled to broadcast the Wimbledon Tennis tournament.  He has done broadcasting for the event for many years, including the last 7 straight for ESPN.

He was scheduled to miss 15 Padre telecasts, which are being done in great form in his absence by Mark Neely, and will return to the Padres booth on July 9th for that night’s game against Colorado.

We hope he has had a wonderful time in London, and look forward to his return to calling the action for your FIRST PLACE PADRES!

    I believe avoiding highly processed foods would be the first step to be able to lose weight. They will often taste fine, but ready-made foods include very little vitamins and minerals, making you take in more to have enough energy to get over the day. If you’re constantly having these foods, switching to whole grain products and other complex carbohydrates will make you to have more power while feeding on less. Interesting blog post.

    I like hearing Mark and Mark. They’re comfortable together and call a good game. Mark is a bit more hesitant to slow down Mud.. but that’s fun too… especially since Mud seems to have caught on that “if he hits it, it’s a double” is like fingernails on a chalk board.
